Home is a group art show celebrating what evokes the thought of ‘home’. Proceeds of art sales benefit El departamento De La Comida a non- profit organization that works on rebuilding a more resilient Puerto Rico by working on agro-ecological projects.

To rebuild a more resilient Puerto Rico, El Departamento de la Comida is reimagining how they produce, protect, and share the food we eat. The need for food security & sovereignty is one of the biggest lessons from hurricane Maria, and one that has inspired their team to reopen El Departamento de la Comida as a non-profit organization.

El Departamento de la Comida’s mission is to work with local food producers and consumers to develop a Puerto Rico that grows, eats and owns its food. They focus on supporting critically affected communities through innovation in food, agriculture, and renewable energy initiatives.
